The CEO of Andybed Ghana Limited, together with his NUGS-Russia Executives Pay Courtesy Visit to Ghana’s New Ambassador to Russia
Moscow, Russia — The Chief Executive Officer of Andybed Consult Ghana Limited, together with fellow executives of National Union of Ghana Students – Russia, has paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Koma Steem Jehu‑Appiah, to formally welcome him to his diplomatic post and discuss areas of collaboration aimed at supporting Ghanaian students and strengthening bilateral ties. The meeting, which took place in Moscow, served as an opportunity for the visiting delegation to congratulate the ambassador on his appointment and reaffirm their commitment to working with the Ghanaian diplomatic mission in Russia. During the engagement, the delegation and Ambassador Jehu-Appiah held what participants described as productive discussions focused on the welfare and opportunities of Ghanaian students studying in Russia. Key topics included improving student support systems, fostering stronger links between Ghanaian students and Russian cooperatives, and encouraging student participation in initiatives that promote collaboration between the two countries.
The CEO of Andybed Ghana Company Limited emphasized the importance of strengthening networks that connect Ghanaian students with academic, entrepreneurial and cooperative opportunities in Russia. According to him, such partnerships could help students gain practical experience while contributing to broader economic and cultural cooperation between Ghana and Russia. Leaders of the NUGS-Russia chapter also highlighted the role Ghanaian students can play as informal ambassadors who help build bridges between both nations. They noted that students studying abroad often serve as key actors in fostering people-to-people diplomacy, cultural exchange, and academic collaboration.
Ambassador Jehu-Appiah welcomed the delegation warmly and expressed appreciation for their visit and commitment to supporting Ghanaian students in the Russian Federation. He underscored his readiness to work closely with students, business leaders and community representatives to ensure that Ghana maintains a strong and positive presence in Russia. The ambassador further assured the group that the embassy remains open to collaboration and engagement with Ghanaian organizations operating in Russia. According to him, inclusive cooperation between the diplomatic mission, businesses, and student leaders will be essential in addressing challenges faced by Ghanaian nationals abroad while promoting national interests. Participants at the meeting concluded the engagement with a shared commitment to deepen cooperation and develop initiatives that enhance student welfare and promote stronger diplomatic and socio-economic relations between Ghana and Russia.
